چکیده
The study presents results from applying the Real Aperture Radar interferometry technique and Digital Image Correlation through a mobile phone camera to identify static dynamic deformations of gantry during surveying operations on Michelangelo’s David at Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze Museum in Florence. statue has considerable size reaches an elevation more than seven meters its pedestal. An ad-hoc was designed deployed, given cramped operating area around statue. scanner had stability control system that forbid instrument movements. However, considering unicity survey rare occurrence, previous been carried out year 2000; verifying recording is crucial task, necessary for validation. As does not have on-board sensor, hi-survey accuracy requested, redundant, contactless, remote monitoring chosen guarantee maximum freedom movement avoid any interference scanning operations. Thanks TInRAR technique, were monitored with 0.01 mm. At same time, analysis performed gantry, which can be considered Multi-Degree-Of-Freedom (MDOF) system, accurately calculate vibration frequency amplitude. A comparison between DIC reported substantial accordance detecting gantry’s oscillating frequencies; predominant oscillation 1.33 Hz identified structure by TinSAR analysis.

Introduction Moving least squares approximation is one kind of meshless methods in which the approximation is built from nodes only. Comparing to mesh-based methods, meshless methods have advantages on (1) refining is simpler to incorporate, (2) moving discontinuities can be treated easily, (3) large deformation can be handled robustly, (4) higher-order continuous shape functions, (5) non-local...
متن کاملDisplacement monitoring of a Long-Span Arch Railway Bridge using Digital Image Correlation (DIC)
There is an escalating demand for condition monitoring enhancement of transport infrastructures worldwide. Bridges are of vital importance in transportation infrastructure and need such monitoring. In this research, a non-contact vision-based technique called Digital Image Correlation (DIC) was used to calculate the bridge displacements. A high frame rate camera with 4K capability was used for ...

A series of tests have been conducted to investigate fatigue damage characterization in corroded welded steel plates using structural health monitoring (SHM) techniques. Acoustic Emission (AE) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique with potential applications for locating and monitoring fatigue cracks in service. In the present work, AE is implemented to characterize damage during crack e...
متن کاملDigital elevation model generation from satellite interferometric synthetic aperture radar
An accurate digital elevation model (DEM) is a critical data set for characterizing the natural landscape, monitoring natural hazards, and georeferencing satellite imagery. The ideal interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) configuration for DEM production is a single-pass two-antenna system. Repeat-pass single-antenna satellite InSAR imagery, however, also can be used to produce useful...
